Deanie Cola Lee Sullivan, 85, died Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Waycross, GA.

Mrs. Sullivan, a native of Savannah was born on December 25, 1923, the daughter of the late James E. and Deanie Mintz Lee. During her life she was employed by the Corps of Engineers, Hunter Army Air Field, but for the longest period of time she was the Bookkeeper for her husband's business of outboard motor repair. Deanie was also an entertainer for several local restaurants, notably as a singer for Johnny Harris Restaurant. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a volunteer with the Girl Scouts. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, cooking and sewing. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, Lewis H. Sullivan. She is survived by her daughter, Deanie Nannette Sullivan of Screven, GA.

Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with burial following at the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
